Why you need a home office?

Having a home office is becoming popular. Almost every one be it a student to and an engineer needs a home office. Most people though don’t like the idea of coming home from the office then working, the story is a bit different from that of a freelancer or someone who works from home. For a freelancer, a home office is a must. One of my friends said he doesn’t really need a home office because he can do all his work from where ever God takes him. I paid him a visit after 3 months just to find one of the corners of his living room transformed. I asked him why he had to put- up an office he said, “Man!!! You just can’t do things every where. He actually made me laugh because what he said was the exact opposite of what he said previously.

Why you need a home office?

Productivity:  Believe me or not, for one to have the highest productivity while working on a project, you need to concentrate. To have full concentration and have your entire mind set to the job you need an office setting. Take an example of a programmer who needs to spend hours and hours trying to troubleshoot an error in a script. You can’t spend hours working on your bed and think you will have full productivity.
Comfort: Another advantage of having a home office is the comfort. If is advised to always be in the right sitting positions in order to avoid future back pain complications. Having a proper office setting with the right chair will offer you comfort hence make you work while relaxed.
Cost: Having a home office will reduce on your expenses. First of all you will not need to pay an extra rent for an office room or office space as you will have your office in your house. Secondly you will avoid unnecessary taxes that you would pay if you had an office in a commercial building. Last but not least you will save a great deal when it comes to transport since there won’t be any need to commute from your home to the work place.
